住吉区の『着付け教室こぎくや』です。
ご訪問ありがとうございます。
先週末の日本 GPについて、あれもこれも細かく書きたいところですが（もう、色々あり過ぎて…嬉しかったり悲しかったり）、バイクの話ばかりになるのも、ねぇ、アレですし（私の英語力がついていかないのもありますが汗）、ひとまずこれだけ言わせてください！

そして、中上君、怪我の治療最優先してーお大事にね（涙）

もとい。
タイトルに記載した通り、髪の毛を寄附しました。
日本で初めて緊急事態宣言が出された頃、しばらくは美容室に行くのも厳しそうだとされていて、この機会に、髪を伸ばして寄附しようと思い立ちました。
そして、ようやく！
やっと！
とうとう実現しました！
長かった…
時間も髪も...しんどかった（汗）
I really want to talk about MotoGP race last weekend a lot but I'll leave it at just saying "Congratulations on your great victory Jack!" and "Take good care of your right hand Taka!".
Okay, now today's topic.
When the state of emergency had been declared for the first time in Japan two and a half years ago, I decided to grow my hair long enough so I can donate it to some organization.
And this week, I got my hair cut finally!
Oh it took so long... it was so troublesome to take care of that long hair.

I visited a hair salon near the Utsubo park in the central Osaka city.

カット後は、かぶせアップができる程度の長さに揃えてもらいました。
事前にお願いしておいたら、寄附用に髪をゴムで結んでから切ってくださいました。
I told the hairstylist about my donation plan in advance so that she tied my hair with elastics before she cut it.
After coming back home I put it in an envelope and sent out to a Japanese lacquer brush workshop for their new brushes.(they make brushes with human hair)
帰宅後、その髪を封筒に入れて郵送。
白い紙の端に少しだけ見える黒いものが髪の束…
ごろんと見えるとちょっとホラーに見えなくもないので、チラ見せで。
送り先は、漆刷毛の工房です。

髪の寄附というと、医療用ウィッグが有名ですが、このような利用法もあったことを、友人から教わって初めて知りました。
医療用ウィッグの受け付け基準では、白髪やパーマなどは対象外なのですが、こちらの漆刷毛工房では、傷みや白髪は問題ないそう。
ささやかながらも、日本文化の役に立つことができれば、実に嬉しいことです。
Speaking of the hair donation, we usually come up with the hair prosthetic for kids. They require the high quality hair like no damage, no perm, no wavy hair and no grays. Mine, unfortunately, didn't meet their standards at all.
Japanese lacquer brushes workshop, on the other hand, they would accept various types of hair like mine with many grays.
帰宅後、浴衣に着替えて長さを見てみました。
そこまで変じゃない…かな？
Checked how it looked with kimono (actually it was Yukata though).
Not bad, I guess.
Of course I will do my hair in up and tidy style when I go out in kimono, but inside my house it doesn't matter:)
