During the stay in my hometown, I wore a cotton kimono and a Han-Haba (half width) obi.
Ise-momen kimono without lining.
Usually we wear kimonos with linings in winter, but the weather was good and the temperature was relatively high, so I picked this cotton kimono.
Actually, it was a bit cold in the night but not that bad.
And I put an overall apron on for cooking in the kitchen.
正月休暇の帰省には、伊勢木綿を着て帰りました。
本来なら袷の季節ですが、気温が高そうだったのと、台所仕事もあるし､と木綿を選びました。
夜は少し寒くも感じましたが、結果、これで十分でした。
もちろん、外に出る時にはコートを着ましたし、台所仕事中は割烹着で。
I brought another set of kimono and Nagoya obi to new year visiting my relatives which I didn't wear because of the weather today. It rained and I didn't have a raincoat for kimono with me.
It disappointed me but I'll soon find another chance to wear it!
今回、親戚宅への挨拶用に、少し華やかな小紋を持って帰っていたのですが、残念ながら雨のため、木綿の着物で行ってきました。雨ゴートを持って行ってなかったのです…残念！
事前の確認は大事ですね。
