Dance dedication 八坂神社さんで奉納舞を見る

It was the last day of winter, in Japanese old calenter.

And today is the first day of spring, as I wrote yesterday.

昨日も書きましたが、昨日は二月三日、節分でしたね。

そして本日二月四日は立春！春の始まりです。

It has been said that demons would come to attack people when the season changes.

(I guess that when season changes we easily get sick especialy in old times and they thought the cause of the sick were those demons and evil spirits.)

So people drive away the demons with roasted soy beans.

Also people make dedications to gods of shrines in many ways to express their wish or gratitude for the blessings.

At Yasaka shrine in Kyoto, there has been some dedication programs.

季節の変わり目にやってくる鬼を追い払うために豆まきをする訳ですが、神様のご加護を頼んだり感謝の気持ち表して、様々な儀式も行われています。

京都の八坂神社では、いくつか舞の奉納があり、見に行ってきました。

篠笛奏者の佐藤和哉さん。

（『ごちそうさん』の主題歌の元曲を作られた方です）

龍笛の演奏を奉納されました。

Mr. SATO Kazuya, famous Japanese bamboo flute player, dedicated his Ryu-teki(Dragon flute) performance to the god.

And traditional Japanese dance passed down centuries from Heian periods, "Imayou" dance.

そして今様舞の奉納。

今様歌に合わせた、ゆったり優雅な動きが素敵な舞でした。

実は、今回の奉納舞に、知り合いの方が出演されていてこれを知りました。

終わったあとは、豆まきです。

We got "Fortune beans"(pls see the pic in yesterday) here.(￥300/pack)

昨日たべた福豆は１パック￥300.

福引の券がついていましたが、行列が長すぎて...午後の予定もあったので止めておきました。

In front of the west gate("Ro-mon", the two stories gate).

せっかく夫と京都まで来たので、西楼門の前で。

この後は午後の目的地に向けて出発！

The end of winter day 節分の日に

It is the end of winter day today.

And tomorrow will be the beginning of spring according to the calendar.

今日は節分。

明日から暦の上では春ですね。

We have a custom to eat Nori-maki(rolled sushi)  for dinner. It's said to be the best to take a big bite of unsliced rolled sushi.

But we cut them into small bite size.

今年の海苔巻きは買ってきました。

（ついでに551で海老焼売と肉団子も）

あ、元はこんな風に一本丸ごとの巻き寿司でしたよ。

もう丸かぶりすると色々困るので切りました。

And we need roasted soy beans to drive demons away.

(usually, we throw them into demons, but we just eat them up!)

豆は（もちろん）撒かずに食べるだけ。

この豆は八坂さんでいただいてきました。

I bought these beans at Yasaka shrine in Kyoto.

There are so many things I want to share here about my visit to Kyoto.

Please allow me to write some more articles after tomorrow. 

今日の京都行きは盛りだくさんでした！

TGIF! 一週間無事終わり

TGIF! It has been a hard week.

ようやく金曜日。解放感に満ち溢れております＾＾

I had some overtimes this week.

And one day on my way home, trains were significantly delayed due to a train accident around the evening rush hour in the middle of this week which made me come home one hour late. 

今週は残業も多かったこともありますが、今週半ば、帰宅ラッシュの時間に、電車が事故で止まっていて、帰宅が予定より一時間遅れとなったため、いつもより疲れた気がします。

So I want to just unwind tonight.

Have some goodies, watch TV dramas, do nothing but lie around on the floor, and go to bed earlier than usual.

OK, I'm calling it a night.

そんなわけで、今夜はちょっとだらだらしようと思います。

おやつ食べて、テレビドラマ見て、ごろごろして早く寝ます。

見るのはコレ（笑）

It’s February 1st 2024! ついに！

Do you know what today is?

今日、2024年2月1日は、何の日かご存知ですか？

"Laughing man incident" has just begun today in a Japanese great animation "Ghost in the Shell".

アニメの攻殻機動隊の笑い男事件が起きた日ですー！

My husband and I like that anime so much. I always want to be like Major Kusanagi Motoko! 

Once I tried to imitate her hair style actually.

攻殻機動隊を見たことがないという方には何のこっちゃ？かもですが、我が家は夫さんも私も大ファンで、私は、事あるごとに草薙素子になりたいと言っておりまして。

過去には彼女の髪型に近付けようとしたことも（後ろ姿だけ似ました）

Of course, nothing's gonna happen in actuality, but I'm full of nervous excitement at the thought of that Laughing Man incident starts today in the fictional universe.

もちろん、事件が本当に起きる訳ではないですし（起きたら大変！）、そもそも、現実世界はまだアニメの中の設定に追いついていないのですが、今日この日から一連の流れが始まったのだと思うと、少しドキドキしてきます。

One month in a row ひと月継続と最近のお気に入りおやつ

Ok, so this is the 31st day in 2024 and January will be gone soon. Time flies!

今日で一月も終わり。

早いですね。

次に気が付いたら年末になってる気がする。

知らんけど。

And this is the 31st post of my blog this year. Yay! I have kept posting articles every day for one month. The contents were random, they were not specialized in anything, and some people may wonder what's this weblog for!?

Oh well, this is all about my favorite and interests.

元日に再開したこのブログも、ひと月続けられました！

毎日投稿したのか…しみじみ。

まぁ、内容はてんでばらばらで、何かに特化したものではないため、読んでくださる方々は、何のブログ？と困惑されているかもしれません。

ただただ、私の好きなことと興味あることの覚え書きですね。

I will try to keep posting for one more month in a row.

I believe it will be a good lesson of writing English sentence for me.(Actually I'm struggling with English sentences every day)

もうひと月、毎日投稿してみようと思っています。英文を書く練習にもなりますしね。（実際、スムーズに書けず日々苦戦…そして段々と更新時間が遅くなりゆく…）

疲れるとポテチを欲するのですが、プラス紅生姜でさらに嬉しい（けっこう好きなのです、紅生姜天）

抜群に美味しい…という訳ではないですが、好きなのです。

関西限定なのかな？

After all, I need muscle training やっぱり筋トレ

I don't like muscle training as I said before.

前にも書きましたが、私、筋トレは苦手です。

But finally I'm convinced that I need some muscle training for my better health.

And I started doing this exercise just for two minutes in the morning.

Never take this two minutes training lightly. It killed my tummy...

筋トレは嫌だと言いながら、やはり筋トレせず健康的に筋肉を着けるのは遠い道のりだと思い知り、諦めて？筋トレを始めました。

この動画、夫さんが見つけて教えてくれました。

２分なら出来る！と思いきや…全然ついていけなくて。

始めて一週間が経ちますが、未だにきちんと形にならないし、毎日お腹周りが燃えるように熱くて痛い…

いつか２分を楽にこなせる日が来るのでしょうか。

I have been doing this exercise every morning for about a week but I still have sore muscles after the workout.

I will keep doing this training until my tummy gets smaller and have six-pack abs.

朝のラジオ体操、筋トレと、日々の階段で、脚とお腹周りを鍛えて、腹筋割れますかね？とりあえず続けます！

Grand Sumo January 令和六年初場所

Yesterday, January Grand Sumo Tournament was successfully over.

昨日、初場所が無事幕を閉じました。

It came to the end with a playoff game between Terunofuji(Yokozuna) and Kotonowaka(Sekiwake).

The winner is, Yokozuna Terunofuji!

Congratulations!!

Some of you might already know that I'm a big fan of Grand Sumo and Sumo wrestlers.

And I love watching the sumo matches on TV during the tournament period or Youtube.

優勝争いは最終日までもつれ込み、優勝決定戦を制して勝ったのは照ノ富士！

おめでとうございます！

長く読んでくださっている方はご存知かと思いますが、私、大相撲も好きなのです♡

仕事を始めてからはなかなか厳しいですが、場所中は、中継を見るのが楽しみ。平日は帰宅途中に公式Youtubeを見たりも。

Yesterday, I spent hours watching television after coming back from Wasai class.
I couldn't stop clapping my hands when Terunofuji won the championship at last.

He had stayed away from the tournament for a while and had just came back on the Dohyo(sumo ring) from this January match.

昨日は夕方からテレビにかじりつき、決定戦の勝敗が決まった瞬間、立ち上がって拍手してしまいました（笑）

照ノ富士は、休場明けで、初めの頃は少し不安の残る取り組みもありましたが、場所が進むにつれて身体が戻ってきた様子が見て取れて、これはいけるかも⁉︎と期待しておりました。

休場明けでも優勝出来るまで身体を仕上げられるのは、さすが横綱ですね。

（とはいえ、好きな力士さんは他にもたくさんいて、誰が勝っても嬉しくて、誰が負けても悲しいのですが）

年末には錣山親方が亡くなられて、相撲ファンにとっては、実に寂しく悲しい場所の入りでしたが、日々の取り組みに元気をもらって、気持ちも上向いてきました。

My favorite Furoshiki of Sumo wrestlers design. I use it to wrap my lunchbox.

お気に入りの小風呂敷（お弁当包みに使ってます）

来場所はいよいよ大阪です。
