Please allow me to talk about the play which I saw on this day. (I was going to post an article about it soon after the day.)
昨年夏のこの日、見に行ったお芝居のことを少し。（記事にするつもりでいたので、ここで成仏させてくださいませ〜）
The play was "Usagi Nami o Hashiru" which means a rabbit runs on water.
That has a hidden serious theme that we can never imagine from the title.
I actually expected something like "Alice in Wonderland" from the characters' names, Alice, Rabbit, mud hatter and so on.
見たのは、野田地図の『兎、波を走る』という作品です。
高橋一生さんが主演で「兎」役。
多部未華子ちゃんが「アリス」役。
松たか子さんが「アリスの母」役。
一見したところ、『不思議の国のアリス』なのかしら？と思わせる設定ですがさにあらず。
母親の松たか子さんが、急にいなくなった娘のアリスを探しているところから始まります。
I am not going to write the story for those who want to see it on some on-demand services.(I'm not sure if there are now.)
Just one thing to mention here.
It tells us we have something really important and we must remember that until the situation changes or even after we solve the problem.
(I couldn't stop crying at the end.)
この後のお話の筋を書くことは控えておきますが、決して忘れてはいけない、大切なことがテーマになっていて、終盤に差し掛かる頃には涙なしには見られなくなりました。
野田地図の作品は、ずっしり心に沈むテーマの物語が多いのでしょうか？
以前見た『フェイクスピア』という作品も、かなり重い内容で、最後の方は嗚咽を堪え切れませんでした。
人によっては、その内容の重さに、どんよりと嫌な気分になることもあるかもしれません（←夫さん、今回のお芝居のあと、野田地図の作品は二度と見たくない、って…）
それでも、やはり、向き合わなくてはならない大切なことが、まだまだ残っているのだと、あらためて思い知らされました。
高橋一生さんと多部未華子ちゃんが好きでチケットを取りましたが、かっこいい、可愛い、だけではない複雑な気持ちとともに帰宅することになったのでした。

この日の着物。
お芝居のタイトルに合わせて「兎」柄の夏着物に、兎の帯留を合わせていました。
それから、履き物はどうしたかと言うと。
夫さんが和裁教室まで替えの草履を持って来てくれて、事なきを得ました。
ホッ。
By the way, what do you think I did after my geta had fallen apart?
My husband came to pick me up to the Wasai class with a pair of Zori sandals!
Thanks to him, I could walk to the playhouse safely.
