It's St. Valentine's Day today.
バレンタインデーですね…
Japanes people have been bothered by the weired custom to give ”courtesy chocolate" to male co-workers on the Valentine's day for long time. Both those who gave and those who received chocolate were annoyed by that event.
Things have been changed for these several years. That strange custom is completely out of date.
しばらく前までは、義理チョコなんて面倒なことがありましたよね。
あげる方ももらう方も大変だったと思います。
ここ何年かでそういう習慣もすたれてきたのではないでしょうか。
On the other hand, looking back myself, I used to give chocolate to my husband until some time ago I don't remember when.
