My husband and I visited a cafe, Anzu-ya, just in front of Osaka Tenmangu shrine last Saturday.
They had a special menu just for that day, Zenzai(sweet bean soup and rice cakes in it) plate.
I love Zenzai, but my husband loves it much more than I do and it's a shame for us to miss that Zenzai plate.
先週末、今年のアンズ舎初めに行ってきました。
この土曜日はモーニング営業日で、しかも一月のモーニングメニューはぜんざい！
我々夫婦は、ぜんざい熱烈愛してる族なので、この機会逃すまじ〜とばかり、行ってまいりました。
Zenzai with roasted rice cakes, and some sweet yums with butter on the side.
Sooo good!
焼けたお餅のなんと香ばしいこと！
味変にと添えられたさつまいもとバターもこれまたいいお味〜
しあわせモーニングでした。
ところが、夫さんはぜんざいだけではおさまらず、こちらを追加でお願いしていました笑
フォークを２つ付けてくださったので、私も横からちょいちょいっと摘み食い。
こちらも甘さ控えめ好みのお味でした〜
After finishing Zenzai plate, there were still some room in my husband's stomach, and he ordered a piece of strawberry cake.
Rich but not fatty, and delicious.
(of course I took some bites!)
Had a really delightful day off.
また今年もたくさん通いますよ〜
